 Passive Voice Exercises with Quick Rules. 

Present Simple Passive

Use: am / is / are + past participle (V3)
Example: A letter is written.

Past Simple Passive

Use: was / were + past participle (V3)
Example: A letter was written.

 Negative Passive Forms

Add not after the verb be:

is not / are not + V3 (Present) – Example: A letter is not written.
was not / were not + V3 (Past) – Example: A letter was not written.

Future Passive 

Use: will be + V3
Example: A letter will be written.
Example: A letter will not be written.

Present Perfect Passive 

Use: has been / have been + V3
Example: A letter has been written.
Example: The letters have been written.

Past Perfect Passive

Use: had been + V3
Example: A letter had been written.
