 Present Perfect (Positive Sentences)

Intermediate Exercise 1

Tips – (Present Perfect)

1. Look for a connection with the present.

Present Perfect is used when a past action affects the present situation.

2. Check the structure:

 have / has + past participle (V3)

   Example: has changed, have finished

3. Use “has” or “have” correctly:

    • has → he, she, it, singular nouns

    • have → I, you, we, they, plural nouns

4. Look for time expressions such as:

    • since, already, yet, just, recently

    • or situations where the result is important now

5. Ask yourself:

Is the result important now?

If yes → Present Perfect is often correct.
