Tips before you start this exercise:
Present Simple (Negative) – Easy Tips.
1. Look at the subject.
2. I / You / We / They
→ don’t + verb
• They don’t like coffee.
3. He / She / It
→ doesn’t + verb
• She doesn’t like coffee.
4. Important.
After don’t / doesn’t → base verb (like) (No likes)
Note:
Contractions are important for Speaking and Listening exams. However, you should not use contractions in Writing tasks in English exams.
Therefore, it is important to know how to use both:
- contractions (short forms), and
- full forms (long forms).
